Denpasar – Joined by all Army Soldiers and Civil Servants in the Denpasar Garrison, Pangdam IX/Udayana General Major TNI Sonny Aprianto, S.E., M.M., led the 77th Indonesian Army’s Fighting Day (Hari Juang TNI AD) Ceremony in 2022, which was held at Praja Raksaka Kepaon Field, Denpasar City, Province Bali, on Thursday (15/12/2022).
Commanded by Dandim 1617/Jembrana Lt. Col. Inf Teguh Dwi Raharja, S.Sos., the ceremony which began with singing the song ‘Mars Kartika Eka Paksi Jaya’ was followed by a tribute and a report to Pangdam as Inspector of Ceremonies and inspection of troops.
As a unifying symbol and spirit of togetherness, the Pataka Kodam IX/Udayana “Praja Raksaka” was also presented at the ceremony. The Commander of the Ceremony then led a tribute to the Pataka Kodam IX/Udayana. Then proceed with a moment of silence and the recitation of Sapta Marga.
Furthermore, the Pangdam as the Inspector of Ceremonies read out the mandate of Grand General Soedirman, which emphasized that the Army was not a group outside society nor was it a caste that stood above society. The army only has one obligation, namely to defend the sovereignty of the country and maintain its safety.
“Army will rise and fall with the nation. Keep fighting, Insya Allah, God will protect our holy struggle, we have echoed our promise, we have invested our determination, all of this will not be of benefit to our homeland, if we do not put this promise and determination into practice,” said the Grand General Soedirman in his address read by Pangdam.
Then, on this occasion, Pangdam also read the mandate of the Chief of Staff Indonesian Army (Kasad), General TNI Dr. Dudung Abdurachman, S.E., M.M., who said that this time the commemoration of the Indonesian Army’s Fighting Day was held in a simple manner amidst an atmosphere of deep concern and empathy for those who were struck by natural disasters in various regions.
“Therefore, the series of activities commemorating the 77th Indonesian Army’s Fighting Day this year are filled with joint prayers and distribution of humanitarian assistance to victims of natural disasters. I express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for the dedication, loyalty, discipline and high dedication,” Kasad said in the message read by the Military Commander.
In this regard, for information, Kodam IX/Udayana has inaugurated the house as a result of the RTLH Renovation Program assistance from the Kasad, as well as holding various Social Service activities (Baksos), Pray Together and Pilgrimage to Heroes’ Cemeteries. The Social Service activities carried out are Blood Donations, Mass Circumcision and Providing Compensation to Orphans.
In addition, in commemoration of the 77th Indonesian Army’s Fighting Day, Kodam IX/Udayana is also carrying out house renovations for 10 houses owned by Warakawuri, which are currently underway and are expected to be handed over to their owners on time. All of these activities are of course relevant to the theme of the Army’s Fighting Day this time, namely the TNI Army at the Heart of the People.
Present at the commemoration ceremony for the 77th Indonesian Army’s Fighting Day in 2022 included Kasdam IX/Udayana, Irdam IX/Udayana, Kapok Sahli Pangdam lX/Udayana, Danrem 163/WSA, Asrendam IX/Udayana, Assistants to Kasdam lX/Udayana, LO TNI AL, LO TNI AU, Dan/Kabalakdam IX/Udayana, as well as other invitees.
